About JD Rogers Development
Jon Rogers, Principal, and CEO of JD Rogers Development, LLC (JDR), founded McDillon Holdings, Inc. in 1989 concentrating on purchasing, renovating and managing historically significant homes and multi-tenant apartment buildings. For years Jon improved the lives of low-income individuals in inner city Bridgeport by applying the same business principles to the work he did for them as he applies to the luxury homes he builds today.
In 2000, McDillon formed their Luxury Home Division. During his tenure there, Mr. Rogers completed over 50 custom and speculative homes in Connecticut.
In January 2019 Mr. Rogers established JD Rogers Development, to continue providing beautiful home building options and smart investment opportunities to his clients.

Jon Dillon Rogers began his real estate career in 1983 at Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBRES), in New York City. Mr. Rogers specialized in office leasing, and assisting national and multinational tenants in their quest for new and additional office space.
Drawing on his earlier experience, working with architects and builders, and combining this with his experience working for CBRES, Mr. Rogers co-founded McDillon Holdings, Inc. in 1989. McDillon and its affiliates have invested in and developed over 300 projects in Connecticut, South Carolina, and Texas, including commercial, mixed-use commercial, residential new homes, residential apartments and historic restorations.
At JDR, Mr. Rogers supervises the overall operation, including seeking investment and development opportunities. In addition, he and his team manage the design, estimate, and development phases of JDR projects and provide a financial analysis of prospective projects.
Mr. Rogers has been very involved with housing and civic organizations, including the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of Bridgeport Neighborhood Housing and Commercial Services. He is currently the Jr. Warden at his church, a Trustee of the Weston Historical Society and serves on three building-related committees for the town of Weston.
